Since 2001, the Plastic Pipe Data Collection Initiative (PPDC) has been collecting data on plastic pipe, fitting, and joint failures that are voluntarily submitted by the industry. Hear from Matt Stennett of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas, APGA Board member and PPDC Committee member, and Jeff Meyers of the American Gas Association, who manages the PPDC, on why the PPDC was formed and its role in our industry. They will also share examples of how data from the PPDC informs both operators and plastic pipe manufacturers.
