
Renée has served as the General Counsel for APGA since January 2024. In her role, she manages legal risk for the association, as well as develops and deploys legal strategy, while collaborating with technical and policy staff to provide input on regulations and legislation that could impact the business of public gas utilities.
Renée joined APGA as its Director of Regulatory Affairs in April 2020. In that position, she led APGA's regulatory and codes and standards advocacy, with a focus on end-use and gas supply. Prior to joining APGA, Renée was a Manager with the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Chemical Products and Technology Division. In her role, she managed several self-funded sector groups, developing and leading their international, federal, and state advocacy efforts.
Renée holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Energy, Business, & Finance, both from the Pennsylvania State University. Renée also has her Juris Doctor from the Maryland Carey School of Law where she completed certificate programs in both Business and Environmental law. She is a member in good standing of the Maryland bar and is entitled to practice law in D.C.
