APGA is the only trade association that solely represents the interests of public gas systems at the legislative and regulatory level. Strength in numbers. From the smallest to the largest systems, APGA is working for you. We advocate on behalf of our members helping them strengthen their systems by providing access to the latest industry trends on safety standards, competitiveness, regulations and other important issues that affect your system.APGA is advocating for you. We work with Congress and regulatory agencies to make sure that your system is represented and protected again harmful legislation and rulings. The cost of an individual gas system obtaining these services on its own would well exceed $100,000 annually. APGA is the voice and choice of public gas advocating for your systems and providing education and forums to grow your business, share knowledge and network. Everyone has a voice at APGA APGA has an inclusive committee structure in that all members and associate members are encouraged to participate at the committee level. We have 15 committees covering topics marketing and development, operations and safety, gas supply, government relations and research and development.
Learning Together APGA provides our members with the most current industry information and educational opportunities to improve their bottom lines and help their businesses thrive. An APGA membership provides your system access to insider information and expert opinions on the natural gas industry. APGA offers top-notch publications that include a monthly manager's report, bi-weekly newsletter. We also offer educational forums and annual meetings help to bring together public gas systems, industry leaders and our affiliate member to discuss the present and future of natural gas. Last year alone APGA held over 12 state and regional workshops to assist member to comply with the new public awareness regulation –RP 1162. In 2008 APGA plans to conduct similar workshops around the US to explain the upcoming Distribution Integrity Management Program regulations and assist members to comply. Ready to Join?
